Genes2cognition.org website hits from PSD paper

In the two weeks since our article reporting the "Characterization of the proteome, diseases and evolution of the human postsynaptic density" (PSD) appeared online in the journal Nature Neuroscience, it has been widely picked-up and reported by the World's press agencies and newspapers, with headline stories appearing in:

Recognising the impact the work may have on many so brain diseases, specific disease and patient's forums such as The Autism News and the Schizophrenia Research Forum have reported the significance of the article, as have financial and biotech-monitoring websites, hinting that the synapse proteins and disease associations unveiled in the paper could lead to a number of tractable and appealing drug targets in the none too distant future.

In total approximately 1400 websites have cited and commented on the significance of our synapse PSD article since its publication (view at Google) and the full paper has been downloaded about 6500 times from Nature Neuroscience.
